Together with our partners, we are organising an annual event as a platform for discussion, learning, and sharing of experiences for end users of business energy. As an energy consultancy, we consider this our duty and a part of our gold standard vision.
With two elections behind us and plans to leave the EU ahead of us, is there a sound policy to determine our energy needs? We don’t have the solutions now, but we can discuss the proposed strategies that are likely to come up and consider whether they match the needs of the UK in or out of Europe.
Meanwhile, geopolitical tension is mounting east-west and around the Middle East with ramifications for much of the world and particularly the oil and gas producing regions. On the environmental front, great progress was made through COP21, although since then, President Trump has decided to pull the US out of the agreement.
Other topics will cover the challenges of managing large international energy portfolios and utilising opportunities from commodity markets. Risk management and fully flexible energy procurement strategies will be examined as solutions for business energy users.
